All the pieces were there. Great director. Phenomenal writer. Stellar cast. But the result was just a messy, talky drama-thriller that fails to land in any area. I had a tough time sitting through this slog and I'm sadden as this is the type of film that I usually love, but it was just a complete misfire. **2.0/5**
