Gaffar cannot bring himself to kill Hamza's young son. He names him Şah and raises him in a cave like a warrior. Years later, when Ömer shoots Ali, the son of the village headman who married the girl he loved, at his wedding, the villagers inform Şah. Şah, who is Ali's friend, swears to kill Ökkeş Ağa and Ömer.
