1. Against the Law
Maris and Lt. Weston go fishing on vacation. At the lodge they stay the owner is accused of murdering his adulterous wife. Rather than fish, Maris and Weston investigate.

2. The Case of Dan Gray
Dan Gray invents an explosive formula similar to dynamite. After a golfer is killed with an exploding golf ball the inventor is arrested for murder. Maris and Lt. Weston investigate. Gloria Larkley is Dan's supporting girlfriend.
3. Skid Row Story
Barney Klein lives on skid row and is accused of stealing money from a local half-way house. Maris defends Barney.
4. Flying High
Jean Davis, a flight attendant, is murdered. When Maris investigates the case he discovers that many people had a reason to kill Ms. Davis. The problem is that all of them have solid alibis.
5. Beau and Arrow Case
A psychologist, Dr. Von Heisinger, is murdered. The weapon: an arrow. Maris investigates.
6. The Frame Up
An ex-convict runs a gift shop and finds the dead body of a well known gangster in his shop. He is arrested for murder. Maris and Lt. Weston, who are friends of the accused, help in the investigation.

Bill Donati, a laborer, is accused of killing a local racketeer named Al Curis. Maris defends Bill.

A scientist, who's also a top-notch secret agent, is accused of misusing top-secret information and botching his assigned job. Maris comes to his aid.

A friend of Maris is arrested for the murder of a detective. Maris is motivated to clear his friend and discovers the dead detective was running afoul of the law.
13. Coins of Antiquity
A Greek immigrant, Alexis George, receives a shipment of rare coins to sell from his mother in Greece but is burglarized in the process. A friend of Alexis is supected of murder and the robbery. Maris investigates.
14. Concrete Coffin
A skeleton buried under a road is found by contruction workers. Maris investigates the possible crime.
15. Compulsive Killer
Professor Hasting thinks his wife is too worried about the welfare of criminals and their concerns. He decides his wife needs a lesson in reality.
16. Girls Wanted
Maris receives an important clue from a young girl in an employment agency racket. Maris decides to investigate.
17. His Brother's Keeper
Larry Wade is a policeman who decides to help out the victim of the crime instead of chasing the perpetrator. This places him in trouble with his superiors and is charged with dereliction of duty. Maris defends Wade which places him at odds with Lt. Weston.
18. A Case of Arson
Sam Putman is charged with arson. Maris investigates and defends Mr. Putman since he is an old friend of his father.
19. Jennifer
A woman is charged and jailed for the murder of her husband. Her step-daughter, Jennifer, asks Maris to investigate the case because she believes in her step-mother. Jennifer turns out to be quite a sleuth and help Maris with the case.
20. Abandoned Mine
A death of a prospector worries the owners of a mine and send Maris to protect their interests and investigate the crime.
21. A French Affair
Maris travels to Paris to meet a potential client but finds him murdered. A suspect is arrested for the murder but Maris is not sure he's the killer. Maris investigates in Europe.
22. End of Titan
Lloyd Randell is killed and Debby Arnold is charged with murder. Maris defends her but has to review an incredible amount of evidence in order to make a good case.
23. Fugitive From Fear
A Korean war veteran suffering from post shock traumatic stress disorder flees after being accused of killing an acquaintance. When Maris comes to his defense he discovers the dead woman had a note addressed to him.
24. Design for Murder
An assistant dress designer is charged with murdering his employer. Maris investigates and defends.

Mr. Burkhart, Sr. accuses his grandson George of stealing. He claims only the two of them knew the combination of the safe. Maris investigates the allegation.

A spree of ""hit and runs"" bewilder the police department. Maris and Lt. Weston are on the case and discover interesting facts in the eight accident. The clues lead them to a dance studio the victims were members of.

Maris heads to the West Indies for some rest and recreation but his vacation is cut short when a plantation owner is killed. Maris investigates.

A Broadway actress who no one likes is murdered. Everyone she knew had a reason to want her dead. Maris investigates.

Maris takes a trip to the zoo. A murder takes place and a zoo worker with a police record, fightened that he'll be the logical one arrested, panics and kidnaps Maris.

A cake is poisoned at an office party and the payroll is heisted. A man takes the blame for the crime. Maris is hired by the man's wealthy uncle to clear him.

A rich oil man is the victim of the theft of his securities. His former employee is accused of the crime. Maris invesigates.

A woman dies suddenly and it is ruled a suicide. The woman was a former client of Maris, and he is not so sure. Maris investigates.

Joe Tanner is an ex-convict but is now reformed and leading a good life. The police, however, charge him with a crime. Tanner claims he is innocent. Maris investigates.
34. Hurricane
After a murder trial where the defendant was found guilty, Maris get a telegram from an important witness in the case stating that the convicted man was not guilty. Maris investigates.

Sergent Corey is court martialed for murder. Lt. Weston believes in Sgt. Corey because he helped him get started in his military career. Maris helps in the investigation.

A newspaper columnist is murdered and Al Bingham, another newsman, is charged with murdering him. Maris investigates.

Nan Havens, traveling behind the iron curtian, is charged with espionage when microfilm carring government secrets is found in her automobile. Maris believes she is innocent and defends her.
